Ride DART to: Miller Lite Conciertos Originales, the free Latin music concert series presenting Banda Los Recoditos on the Plaza at American Airlines Center; Tulisoma South Dallas Book Fair, a day full of open mic poetry, writing, art workshops, children's activities, book signings, and more at the African American Museum in Fair Park; Reunion Lawn Party on the lawn across from Reunion Tower, a free event featuring live party bands, food trucks, Nodding Donkey beer garden, lawn games, and the Dallas Mavericks taking over the lawn with swag and more; the final Summer Concert on the Square featuring Shades of Gray in Historic Downtown Carrollton; R&B legend Mary J. Blige in performance at the Music Hall at Fair Park; Together We Ball, an event where Dallas Police (including DART Police Officers), Pastors, and Community Leaders come together for a friendly game of basketball and community building at the P.C. Cobb Field House; and August Dollar Days at the Dallas Arboretum, featuring $1 admission, $2 hotdogs and root beer floats, $1 popsicles and $4 ice cream sundaes. In Fort Worth, ride the TRE and The T's Safari Shuttle on Saturday to the Fort Worth Zoo. In Denton, ride DART, the DCTA A-train and Denton Connect Route 4 to get to all the fun of Denton's Annual North Texas Fair and Rodeo at the North Texas Fairgrounds.
