Note: DART Rail, buses and the TRE will operate a regular weekday schedule on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 16, 2017. Route 2, 11, 12, 26, 35, and 409 bus riders should prepare for detours during the Dallas MLK Day Parade on Monday. See www.DART.org/rideralerts for more information about the bus detours.
Other events this week: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at the Winspear Opera House; Tantalus, presented by the Garland Civic Theatre at the Granville Arts Center; Ladies Choice, featuring Avant, Dru Hill and Jagged Edge in performance at Music Hall at Fair Park; TITAS presents Shadowland by Pilobolus at the Dallas City Performance Hall; Texas Half & 5-mile races at the Irving Convention Center; and Charlotte's Web, part of the Methodist Richardson Family Theatre Series at the Eisemann Center.
In Fort Worth: Ride the TRE and The T's bus route 2, 7 or 57 to the legendary Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo, a 23-day extravaganza at the Will Rogers Memorial Center. Note: No TRE service on Sundays.
In Denton: Ride DART, the DCTA A-train and DCTA Connect Route 4, 5 or 6 to the 2017 Denton Bridal Show in Hubbard Hall at at Texas Woman's University. Ride DART, the DCTA A-train and DCTA Connect Route 2, 7 or 8 to the all-day Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration on Monday in Denton.
