Ride DART to the 9th Annual Dallas International Film Festival. Screening venues include the Angelika Film Center Dallas at Mockingbird Station and the Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff. Also this week, ride DART to: The Illusionists presented by Dallas Summer Musicals at the Music Hall at Fair Park; Late Nights at the Dallas Museum of Art exploring the evolution of the portrait and ideas of identity; Texas Ballet Theater's "Masterworks" at the Dallas City Performance Hall; the Garland Symphony Orchestra featuring flutist LeeAnne Thompson at the Granville Arts Center; the Garland Civic Theatre's production of "Carrie the Musical" at the Granville Arts Center; the Electric Zombie Run at Fair Park; the March of Dimes' March for Babies at Norbuck Park near White Rock Lake; Texas History Alive! presented by Texana Living History Association and the A.W. Perry Homestead Museum in Carrollton; the Great American Cleanup and Earth Day Celebration at the Plano Centre; or the Vocal Majority's spring show "Amazing Grace: Legacy of the Greatest Generation" at the Eisemann Center in Richardson. In Fort Worth: Ride the TRE and The T's bus route 2, 7 or 57 to "What's Up, Doc? The Animation Art of Chuck Jones", a traveling exhibition at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.
