Ride DART to the Opening Day Parade of the 2013 State Fair of Texas in downtown Dallas; to the opening weekend of the State Fair of Texas at Fair Park; to the opening weekend of the Chinese Lantern Festival at Fair Park; to the inaugural Heart of Dallas Classic football game benefitting Carry the Load and featuring a match-up between Army and Louisiana Tech at the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Fair Park; to the Lone Star Ride Fighting AIDS starting near Cedars Station; or to WWE Live at the American Airlines Center. Customers can ride in comfort to the State Fair of Texas on DART's Green Line to two stations: Fair Park, located on Parry Avenue at the entrance to the fairgrounds, and MLK, Jr., located south of R.B. Cullum Boulevard and convenient to the Gate 6 entrance and the Cotton Bowl stadium. Extra Green Line trains will be available every 20 minutes between Victory and Lawnview stations from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays and 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekends. TRE passengers transfer to the Green Line at Victory Station. The TRE will operate on Sundays during the State Fair of Texas. Visit www.DART.org/StateFair for more service information. The DART Police Department invites the public to join them in participating in DART's 3rd annual National Night Out at the DART Police Headquarters adjacent to Illinois Station on Tuesday, October 1. Ride DART, the TRE and the T's Safari Shuttle on Saturdays to the Fort Worth Zoo. Ride DART, the DCTA A-train and DCTA Connect Route 7 to the Denton Community Market in downtown Denton.
